"The licensing industry is one of the most exciting and dynamic business environments to operate in and we constantly endeavour to ensure that Brand Licensing Europe remains an all-encompassing, relevant business event that gives everyone equal billing," said Helen Gardner, managing director of Brand Licensing Europe organiser Advanstar Communications.
"We believe this is reflected in the type of visitors who attend Brand Licensing: last year, almost three-quarters registered an interest in entertainment and character categories; 41 per cent came to find more about the corporate and lifestyle brands on display; around one third noted art and design, fashion or sport as their priority purpose for attending; 24 per cent were interested in music properties; one fifth wanted to see personalities and icons and over 10 per cent ticked the heritage, charity and public sector box.
"We are confident that, based on the exhibitor line-up we have already secured, 2008 will be an equally well-rounded and appealing event".
Brand Licensing Europe takes place on 1-2 October 2008 at the Grand Hall, Olympia, in London.
