Video products added to Adconion portfolio

Adconion Media Group has added a range of video products to its portfolio that offers advertisers an additional channel for communicating with their target audiences.

The products include in-banner video ads within standard online ad formats, including IAB-supported banners and MPUs, without requiring any additional technology add-ons.

These include click-to-play, expandable and auto-stream ads.

Advertisers also have the option of pre-, mid-, and post-roll ads (in other words, ads that play before, during or after online video content) and overlay ads (which run alongside the video content).

The video products will initially focus on in-banner video, evolving into video-player formats over the next few months.

Publishers working with Adconion will be provided with Adconion's proprietary video player, which can be integrated into websites to run video ads/content.

All of Adconion's publisher partner sites have been pre-tested to support Adconion's off-the-shelf video advertising solution.

Adconion owns the technology to play the ads and controls the video ad serving platform, which allows Adconion to offer advertisers free ad-serving.

Additionally, Adconion is able to provide advertisers and brands with more data on how potential and existing customers are using online video and how they like to receive information.

Adconion's video network also allows brands and advertisers to optimise their online video campaigns in the same way as more 'traditional' online advertising such as e-mail and search.

As a platform-agnostic audience network, advertisers can utilise Adconion's video products across all three screens - mobile, internet and IPTV.

For brands and advertisers looking for additional ways to connect with their audiences online, Adconion also offers branded video content for ads or entertainment.

Redlever, Adconion's fully-owned US-based creative services and video production company, offers advertisers a variety of options, ranging from existing material to bespoke content.

Redlever also offers advertisers the ability to repurpose existing offline collateral for online use.
