PSP and Activ8-3D deliver 3D-holocube concept

An Activ8-3D product story

PSP is working with exclusive UK distributor, Activ8-3D, to deliver the 3D-holocube concept to the market.

3D-holocube is a fully integrated, mini 3D holographic system that creates 3D video holograms.

It provides an advertising medium and offers a new way of enhancing brand experience.

The company said 3D-holocube is ideal for point-of-sale applications within the retail market, product launches and live events and exhibitions.

3D-holocube is not limited to low light areas; it can be positioned in locations with high ambient light levels and still produce bright, sharp, clearly visible images.

This, the company said, makes it ideal for in-store use or brightly lit shop windows.

The 'pod' within which the hologram is viewed is manufactured from either aluminium or synthetic materials.

It comes in black or white as standard, but can be specially commissioned in a variety of colours to tie in with a client's corporate image.

The 'pod' measures 52cm3 and can be wall-mounted, taking up a minimal footprint - an important consideration in environments where space is at a premium.

It also comes with an optional display stand, which integrates seamlessly with the pod at the all-important eye level and provides space for product or literature placement.

3D-holocube has a USB interface that is used for easy uploading of content, plus a built-in 40GB hard drive.

It is quick and simple to operate, and one switch boots up the system in 10s.
